Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Ihsanoglu made the remarks in his meeting with Iran’s new envoy to the OIC Hamid-Reza Dehqani while he was submitting his credentials to the OIC chief.
Ihsanoglu backed Iran’s nuclear activities for the peaceful purposes while referring to the important role Iran plays in the world developments including the Palestinian and nuclear issues.
The new Iranian envoy, for his part, called for strengthening of the organization in order to achieve the OIC objectives.
Dehqani further called for support for the Islamic states’ rights worldwide.
